While I was praying last summer the Lord impressed on me that I was to use the Internet for His glory. I said, "Yes, Lord", but didn't have any idea how that would come together. So I waited.

A month later while browsing the Campus Crusade for Christ website, there was a call for 'mature Christian women' to mentor new believers through the Canadian published magazine, www.christianwomentoday.com.  I prayed and then talked with my husband about this opportunity and the Lord directed me to apply. 

After the application process, securing the references, and receiving acceptance, I watched the Lord as He has directed my involvement in this powerful outreach!

Mentoring online by e-mail is one more avenue of His communication to let the Word flow around the world.  Over the past several months I have heard from many women in the U.S., Canada,  Egypt, the Philippines, Viet Nam, China, France, Sweden and the UK to name only a few countries.

Issues addressed have varied from wayward children, abusive situations, questions from those living together outside of the covenant of marriage, interpersonal relationship issues, self-esteem questions, and others. The scope is great!  But as I've prayed and asked the Father to show me through His Spirit in His Word what He would have me share, I'm in awe as I listen and He directs me to His perfect response. 

The greatest gift and joy in my life has been to know Jesus as Savior and to follow Him as Lord of my life.  To be given the privilege of introducing Jesus to someone else or to encourage them in their walk with the Lord through the mentoring process makes me bow on my knees before the Father in awe.  I give out His Truth - never my opinion - and He does the work of using His Word to change lives!  That's power!!  And He gets all the glory and praise and honor!
