Dealing with Privacy Policy

When dealing with a new site, it needs to be decided what privacy policy needs to be added to the site. This should be discussed among the team that is building the site, and the correct policy selected.

When the Crusade privacy policy was written three years ago it was decreed that it should be placed on all of our websites. Here are four site policy issues:

1. Does this site have the standard Campus Crusade for Christ (Canada) privacy policy?
2. Does this site have the standard publishable redirect (www.domain.tld/privacy) that displays the privacy policy?
3. If this site has ezine subscription services does it have the standard publishable redirect (www.domain.tld/subscribe)?
4. If this site has ezine subscription services does it have the standard publishable redirect (www.domain.tld/unsubscribe)?
