The next screen that will appear is your E-mail Display page.  This page shows you all the messages in your inbox.

You can choose what e-mails you wish to see by clicking on the “Select emails” drop-down menu:

Emails will be filed for you in MARS.  “New” will display all new messages that have not been read.  “Completed” will display all messages that you have responded to including your reply.  “All” will display both “new” and “completed” messages for a complete display of all emails.

When you receive a message and wish to respond to/review it, click on the subject of the message.   This new window will open:

The large text box is where your response can be typed, or right above it, you can insert your Pre-Written Response, as explained below.  If you wish to do this, click on the dropdown menu, select which text you wish to insert, and click insert.  Your text will then appear in the large text box. 

If you receive a reply from the visitor, that does not require a response, you can click "File No Reply"    and that will be filed under ‘ALL’ & ‘Completed’ for you.

*IMPORTANT*  MARS is a high security web site, therefore in order to ensure that your work is not lost, you have to click "Save Draft"   often, at least every 5 – 10 minutes.

***MARS will NOT store your draft copy but will keep a copy of your reply in the 'completed' file after you click send.

When you have completed your response and are ready to send it, click the "Send"   button and wait for a new message window to appear confirming that the message has been sent.  If you do not receive this new message, your message has not been sent, so you need to go back and click send again.

When exiting this page, click “CANCEL” - do NOT click the X  in the top right hand corner.  Only use the ‘X’ after you have logged out of MARS.

Please remember that you have 6 days to reply to a message after you receive it.
